'Herrmannsee' lies within easy reach of the A8 motorway (Stuttgart-Karlsruhe). Take the exit signposted Pforzheim-West. Turn left at the traffic lights and continue forward through the industrial park, following the signs in the direction of Büchenbronn bzw. Schömberg. Pass Siloah Hospital and follow the downhill street to Brötzingen, across the Enz river. Continue up the hill to Büchenbronn and drive through the village.

After you leave Büchenbronn, following the downhill road, turn right at signpost 'Herrmannsee'.

Coming from the Nagold valley, in Unterreichenbach follow the signposts for Engelsbrand-Grundbach, then drive in the direction of Pforzheim.

There is a bus stop a few minutes' walk east of Herrmannsee or a 15 minutes walk away in Büchenbronn.
