About the Hotel

The leisure facilities comprise: minigolf and a lake with rowing boat hire. Full restaurant service on the large open-air terrace, self-service at the restaurant or the nearby kiosk for guests of the beer-garden on the lake shore.

Children are especially fond of the small merry-go-round and the numerous ducks and will enjoy feeding the fish in the lake. A communal game reserve with moufflon sheep, wild boars and fallow deer is located nearby.

A 25 minute walk leads to the Büchenbronn observation tower with a cast-iron structure worth seeing. This tower was erected in 1883 at the highest point (608.5 m above sea level) of the Pforzheim district. Signposted loop trails start at the hotel, which also borders the Black Forest Mittelweg, a scenic long-distance hiking trail.
